stephenie meyer was born in connecticut, usa, in 1973. she grew up in phoenix/arizona, the city where bella and her mother lived. she is the second of six children. she has one older and one younger sister and younger brothers.
she went to high school in scottsdale, arizona and studied english literature in provo, utah.
she is married with poncho (actually christian) and has three sons, gbe, seth and eli.
twilight was her first book. her latest novel is the host.
